+ Barbara Leigh was born to pro-skateboarder Shawn Webster and fitness connoisseur Marie Webster on June 11th, 1989.
+ Started school when she was four years of age. Graduated high school when she was seventeen.
+ Has had the nickname 'Barbie' since she was in middle school.
+ Was very athletic in middle in high school. She played soccer and volleyball throughout her schooling career. She was also very active in chorus and school clubs.
+ Was never the 'snobby' type, she talked to and loved pretty much everyone. Never one to play that 'cool by association' game, she just tried to reach out to everyone who may not have had friends or weren't the most popular kids. She went to her senior prom with someone that was considered a 'loser', so to speak, being the president of the chess club and a drama 'nerd'. She had the time of her life on prom night because she was glad to be there with a great friend while her 'popular' friends thought it was lame of her.

+ Has a kind of warm, welcoming personality just like her mother and her sisters. She'd do anything for anyone. This is often taken advantage of and she's been walked on by friends because of her generosity. But that doesn't change how she is, she refuses to change her ways for a few 'bad apples'.
+ Graduated from West Chester University in 2010. She majored in Music & Communication and graduated via online courses while she was on American Idol.
+ Considers her mother to be her most renounced role model. Her strength and selflessness has always inspired Barbie to be a better person.
+ Loves and cherishes her little sisters more than anything in this world. She classifies them both as gifts from God and would honestly take out anyone who ever hurt either of them.
+ Isn't really fond of her father these days. She lost a great deal of respect for her father when he missed Maddiline's wedding to her now husband Hayden Raton. Once you lose Barbie's respect its damn near impossible to get it back.
+ Isn't really a 'good girl', but isn't really a 'bad girl' either. She's just sort of an in-between, live-in-the-moment type of girl. Laid back, generally too nice-for-her-own-good, open minded to match her open heart, believes that love is truly the greatest gift in the world that you can give a person. Some might say she's a bit 'naive' for her age, especially in the mannerism that she always tries to find the silver lining in every dark cloud, doesn't like being sad and hates it even more when others around her are sad, and ultimately thinks that every girl has a prince charming waiting to be found. But honestly that's just the way she is. As 'naive' as she may be, she's just an all around good person who tries to seek out the good in other people.
+ Has had one boyfriend in her life. She dated the boy for three years after they met her freshman year of college. He was a real catch, to boot. Smart, sweet, considerate, romantic. One thing he seemed to lack was patience, however. He wasn't really patient with Barbie not wanting to just sleep with him early in their relationship. He thought pressuring her would be the way to get her to open up to him but that ultimately just made her very uncomfortable. He finally lightened up though, and they remained together. After she finally did sleep with him, it took him a matter of two weeks before he broke up with her for a girl who would quote, 'put out more'. It was then that she learned he had cheated on her excessively throughout their relationship just because she wouldn't sleep with him. She honestly thought she'd end up marrying that boy only for all of that to transpire. That broke Barbie's heart but at the same time, she's learned in the past year a lot about herself.
+ Is a big fan of music. She's quite the good singer, and often will do karaoke and such. She's written her own music, has jammed with her sisters and her cousins, it's why she majored in music in college. She just loves it.
+ Her absolute favorite band is Heart. The staple of her karaoke nights is "Alone" and "Barracuda" by Heart, and she often can be found humming this song to herself. She loves all kinds of music though. Some of her favorite performers being Primal Scream, Tim McGraw, The Rolling Stones, Martina McBride, Pat Benatar, George Strait, Patsy Cline, Cyndi Lauper, Tyler Reckson, Dakota Switt, Joan Jett, Lita Ford, Cher, Tammy Wynette, lots of 80s rock, 90s pop, country and music of today. Her ipod and itunes are huge clusterfucks.
+ Barbie spent a few months in Hollywood, California, where she took part of the hit show American Idol season 9. She was convinced by her cousin Melody to try out for it, even though she didn't think that she'd have anything they were looking for. She auditioned in Boston with the song "I Can't Make You Love Me" by Bonnie Raitt. She made it through to the actual show and lasted almost the entire duration of Season 9.
+ Barbie was voted off of American Idol in the top 3, making it to the top with Lee Dewyze and Crystal Bowersox. She wasn't upset really to be voted off, in fact she was kind of happy all things considered. She was almost immediately signed to 19/Arista Nashville, and she's working on her first album now. She's working under the productive eye of Jackson Schrade.
